Texas Motor Speedway, 04/10/1999
Well, today we all got together for a few laps around the speedway! I was very happy to see quite a few new faces today as well! The SCCA was having races outside the speedway today in the parking lots (Deanne and John Paul were racing!). There only seemed to be 2 organized Car Clubs in attendance for the track drive... ClubGP and the local NSX club.How was it? It was quite fun! I just wish they would have sped up another 20 mph or so! On the back stretch of the last lap, I know a few of us hit 100+, but normal speeds were more like 65-80.
I hope to see most of you that attended today at our "Normal" monthly car shows!
